Come get messy, play, and learn with us at Kaleideum this summer …

Science, art, technology, design, music, and theatre! You are sure to find a camp that interests your child. We offer a range of half-day and full-day camps at both locations, some of which are available for pay-by-the-day. Before-care is available at Kaleideum North, and after-care is available at both locations for full-day campers.

Check out our downloadable Kaleideum Camp brochure and registration form. The brochure is organized by week and by age group. Buy at least four week-long camps in a single transaction and receive $20 off. Or, buy eight or more week-long camps in a single transaction and receive $45 off. This discount is only available by using the paper registration form. Spring Break Camp 2018 at Kaleideum North

Spring into science at Kaleideum North (400 W Hanes Mill Road) during Spring Break Day Camps!
  • Tuesday, April 3-Thursday, April 5
  • Ages K-5th Graders
  • 9 am-4 pm
  • $40 per day for members
  • $45 per day for non-members
  • Early drop-off at 8 am available for an additional $5.
  • Late pick-up until 5:30 pm available for an additional $5.
  • These camps are located at Kaleideum North, 400 W Hanes Mill Road.

April 3: Bones and Stones


What can we find in the layers of the earth? Get a close-up look at dinosaur teeth, claws, footprints, and fossils. We’ll take a close look at volcanoes and rocks and what it takes to be a paleontologist and geologist. REGISTER HERE!


April 4: Mars, Stars, and Quasars


Traverse the universe this spring! Design your own rocket, take part in special planetarium programming and more. From Mars to quasars, we’ll explore the latest and most fascinating spectacles the cosmos has to offer! REGISTER HERE!


April 5: FrankenSTEM


This year marks the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. What better way to celebrate than to make robots, creatures, and non-creatures; write and illustrate our ideas; and discuss responsibility as creators, scientists, and engineers. It’s sure to be a creepy, funny, and thought-provoking day. REGISTER HERE!

It is an option to purchase before-care and after-care at the Welcome Desk day-of.
Snacks and Lunch

Campers should bring a snack, lunch, and a drink. Both Museums will provide lunch on Fridays: Kaleideum Downtown offers Jimmy John’s sandwiches and Kaleideum North offers pizza.

Camper Clothing

Please send your child in clothing that is comfortable for indoor and outdoor, hands-on, messy activities. Closed shoes with socks are preferred. Please, NO flip-flops. CHILDREN 5 AND UNDER: Just in case, on the first day of camp, please send a labeled bag with an extra set of clothing for your child. If they don’t need that change of clothes, we will send the outfit back on Friday.

Registration, Payments, and Cancellations
All payments are due in full upon registration. Registration is available online, with payment accepted via MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
For a full refund, you must cancel at least two weeks before the first day of the camp for which your child is registered. No refunds can be given after this date.
