Kaleideum Downtown Hours
Kaleideum Downtown’s hours will change starting Monday, August 23:
Saturdays: 10 am-5 pm
Sundays 1-5 pm.
In accordance with City and County guidelines, as of August 21, all visitors ages 5+ are required to wear masks indoors at Kaleideum, regardless of vaccination status. Ages 5 and under are strongly encouraged to wear masks as well. No exemptions or exceptions. Thank you for helping to keep children safe!
Youth (Ages 1-19): $10
Seniors (Ages 62+): $9
Military Personnel (with valid military ID): $1 off admission during the school year
Ages 11 Months and Under: Free
Educators (with valid ID): Free
Group rate for 10 or more children who are part of an organized group. (Advanced reservations required): $7 per child; chaperones free until 1:5 ratio is reached.
Home School Rates: School-age children (grades K-12) $2 per child (Forsyth County) and $4 per child (outside Forsyth County). One parent is free; second parent is $4. These prices are in effect on any day that Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools are in session. Proper home school identification required. On Saturdays, summer months, school holidays, snow days, and teacher work days, regular admission rates apply.
Museums for All: Kaleideum is part of the Museums for All program. EBT cardholders from all 50 states can show their EBT card and a valid form of photo ID to pay only $3 per person admission. The Museum does not process EBT transactions; cash or other payment must be provided for admission.
Blue Star Museum: Kaleideum is part of Blue Star Museums, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America to offer free admission to the nation’s active duty military personnel and their families during the summer. A list of participating museums nationwide is available at arts.gov/bluestarmuseums.
